Smalltalk on Jurassic (on .NET)

Feb 26, 2014 at 12:21 AM
There is a new exciting project called Amber Smalltalk. An efficient Smalltalk-to-Javascript compiler.
Amber's web site is here: http://amber-lang.net/
The Interactive web-hosted tutorial is here: http://amber-lang.net/learn.html
In 5 minutes, a newbie Smalltalker can learn a lot of Smalltalk in an interactive environment.

My question, for anyone technically knowledgeable with Jurassic, can Amber Smalltalk run on top of Jurassic? Is there any reason this would not work?

If Amber Smalltalk can run on Jurassic, then it may be possible to have a Smalltalk on .NET. That might open up an easy-to-learn programming paradim and toolset for .NET

If anyone is interested, I'd be keen to collaborate on such a project.

It's so crazy it just might work!

Coffeescript works after all, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.
